– This is an old pair of headphones, but I upgraded them to balanced wiring by replacing the drivers and cables. – For this order, I purchased the drivers. – The new drivers are slightly thicker than the original ones, so I was concerned about the fit. – However, they were installable using the original housing parts. – Some plastic parts do not fully engage, but the screws in other areas provide sufficient strength. – The sound quality is fine so far. – I tested the following audio sources and noted my impressions (for reference): – **DSD – Orchestra**: Tentatively OK – **DSD – Jazz**: Tentatively OK – **MP3 – Electro**: Bass feels too strong, but acceptable level – **MP3 – House**: Tentatively OK

Great high quality sound! I installed these as a replacement for my Denon AH-D7100. I don’t know how accurate they are with my poor hearing, I feel they are on par with the wide-range originals. At least, I love the sound this product produces. If installing on a D7100, should need to remove the front mesh cover. It is not a strong adhesive, it can remove easily and cleanly. Then it will be a perfect fitting. It might even be able to buy other version without the mesh cover at first place… I was a little disappointed that the seller did not reply to my messages, but that is trivial considering the low price they are offering. Shipping was very fast. Thank you.
