It seems like the connection pins are a tad thicker than the connector and the surrounding plug is tighter. First time I inserted it on my IE8 it broke the outer connector shell on the IEM and pulled one connection pin. Second time, it ripped the connection pin off. I had to disassemble the IEM and solder it back in place, making the entire thing insecure. Now I need ultra extra care to handle it. Be super cautious if you're replacing the cable for a Sennheiser IE8.

Works exactly as a replacement for the harman kardon mini speaker. Sounds is ok. Would be nice to know what is plus or minus at the speaker
