My Sony 3.5mm headphone is quite old. This is the second time that i am replacing the ear cushion pads in 14 years. The problem with the original and replacement pads is that the material is PU leather (fake leather). After a couple of years, this material degrades and flakes off to the point that it will make a mess with black flakes and dust. Very nasty material. I hope someone will make real leather cushion pads so I can stop buying replacements.
