Much better than I thougt. I had an old Alessandro MS Pro laying around for years, which I revived with these pads. I ordered the velvet ones, which needed a bit of modding though – an outer layer of tight alcantara and some felt to cure the highs. Should have chosen the one with leather outside and velvet inside to achieve the same effect. Lastly, the pads are much smaller than the stock Grado Jumbo pads, but much more comfortable.

Habe zuerst die Samt Polster ausprobiert, danach die Hybrid Polster. Keins von beiden ist einfach so geeignet als Ersatz für einer Grado. Samt klingt etwas dünn, Hybrid total dumpf. Aber. Das Samt Polster klingt wirklich gut, wenn es von außen “zu gemacht” wird, siehe Foto in meinem ersten Review. In meinen Fall habe ich mir was aus Alcantara und Klett Verschlüssen gebaut. Klebeband oder Folie täten es aber auch. Der Bass ist so etwas zu stark, ich brauchte 5 kleine Löcher von ca. 3mm, bis es perfekt war. Eine Scheibe Wolle Filz über das System, und schon sind wir im Geschäft. Die Polster sind nicht vernäht, und können einfach auseinander gezogen werden. Der Schaumstoff ist frei zugänglich und austauschbar. So konnte ich z.B. den Schaumstoff Ringe meiner Exemplare testweise gegeneinander austauschen. Waschen, reparieren, modifizieren, diese Polster sind ein Traum für jeden Kopfhörer Bastler.
