High-density sponge with slow rebound

The firmness of the memory foam inside the earcups changes with temperature. At low temperatures, the memory foam will temporarily harden. If your earcups feel firm when you receive them in cold weather, this is perfectly normal—they will return to their normal softness after wearing them for a while. Similarly, at high temperatures, the memory foam will soften.
